3. Age Verification

TeenFounders is designed for teenage founders (ages 13-17). We use Aadhaar-based age verification to ensure compliance. Your Aadhaar data is processed securely and only used for verification purposes. We do not store your full Aadhaar number and comply with all applicable data protection regulations.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• With your consent or at your direction
• With service providers who help us operate the platform
• To comply with legal obligations or protect rights and safety
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

Public content & search engines: Public posts and profile pages (content you choose to make visible to others) may be indexed or displayed by third‑party search engines (for example, Google). We may surface or submit public content for indexing to improve discoverability. By using TeenFounders and posting public content on the platform, you agree and confirm that such public posts and profile information may be published and indexed by search engines.

If you want a public post or profile removed from search results, contact us at hello@teenfounders.in and we will take reasonable steps to request de‑indexing from the third‑party search provider.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We use encryption, secure servers, and regular security audits to protect your information.

You have the right to:

• Access and download your personal data
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and data
• Object to processing of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, improve performance, and provide a better experience. Below is a short summary of the kinds of cookies you may encounter and how to control them.

• Essential / functional: Required for authentication, session management and core site features (these include Supabase session/auth cookies — typically persist up to 30 days). Disabling these will affect your ability to sign in and use the platform.
• Preferences: Remember display or preference settings such as theme or language so the site behaves consistently for you.
• Performance & analytics: Aggregate, non-identifying usage data (page views, feature usage) we use to improve the product. Analytics cookies do not identify you personally and are used to measure and enhance site performance.
• Third‑party cookies: Content from third parties (for example, embedded widgets or integrations) may set their own cookies; those cookies are governed by the third party's policies.

Control cookies: manage or delete cookies via your browser settings (see your browser's help pages). To opt out of non-essential analytics or to request restriction of cookie processing for your account, contact us at hello@teenfounders.in and we will take reasonable steps to honour your request.

Technical note: authentication/session cookies used by the application are set by Supabase and can persist for up to 30 days (see our client/server auth configuration for implementation details).

8. Children's Privacy

While our platform is for teenagers, users under 13 are not permitted. Parents/guardians of users under 18 may request access to or deletion of their child's data by contacting us.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the platform or sending you an email.
